The basic goal of the Academy Board is to provide more opportunities for young engineers to learn and develop for the benefit of the societies that this profession serves. To this aim the Board is developing a new form of e-learning course called IABSE Diploma and also working on four curricula: bridge engineering; forensic structural engineering; assessment of existing structures; earthquake engineering focusing on reinforced concrete and unreinforced masonry structures.
